Navigating the waters of family camping can seem like more work than fun, but there are few better ways to spend family time.
How far would you travel for a family camping trip? Being from Toronto, most of my camping trips have been in Ontario, mostly at Provincial Parks. My husband & I happily tented it for many years until we got tired of sleeping on the ground and leaky air mattresses. We have now upgraded to a Palomino Yearling tent trailer and have vowed to visit as many different campgrounds and little towns in this great land as we possibly can. My goal is to find family friendly campgrounds, that have great swimming areas, half decent washroom facilities and most importantly, campsites that don't make you feel like you are camping in a dusty parking lot.
